A movie about African slavery written and produced by three ‘white’ European women. Guaranteed to be historically inaccurate.
The anti-family anti-‘black’ agenda displayed in full force.
Covered in baby oil, the women oppose, fight and are oppressed by all the men,
who are portrayed as vile beasts not worthy of any love or cooperation – only a
passing lust is considered by the women outside of money and power grabbing
from the ‘man king’.
Idiosyncratic in nearly every way, the illogical displays of
industry without production, tailoring without shoes, children without families,
a female warrior against childbearing but cares for her daughter will leave any
thinking brain angrily frustrated.
The film looks beautiful and has uniform great performances.
The writing is fairly well done too.
Watch if you believe that men are only good for sperm and
money – and that ‘black’ women are more manly than most men. In other words,
watch if you are a racist and a sexist hater.
