Sound Of Freedom (2023) SSMR

A blunt and straightforward film about child trafficking and law enforcement efforts. The story is mostly true and, while not all doom and gloom, there are no jokes to be had.

Appearing to be slow, due to a somber and patient tone, the brisk pacing covers a spirited voyage into and out of the spiritual businesses involved. The cast comfortably takes a backseat to the tale being told, with nobody overacting and everyone directed to be as natural as possible.

This film could have won an Oscar for something if there was a bigger name attached. Artistically, the film is nearly flawless and consistently exhibits skill, tension and beauty. Presented are many extravagant shots, vistas and textures. This is a great example of 'understanding the assignment'.

Watch this if you want to feel like you have gained some extra life experience from watching a movie.

Perfect for a time of seriousness and pensive contemplation. Buy and support.
